My. Dog. Has. POOPED. Almost. Every. Day. In. Her. Kennel. Since. We. Got. Her.
Ugh.
Absolutely horrible. I can understand since she is still a puppy and can't hold it for a whole work day but I absolutely hate coming home to a stinky poopy smelling house. I hope her poop schedule changes soon so we don't have to keep washing out her kennel, giving her so many baths, and I don't come home take one breath in and I want to puke. Haha.
I found a new blog site I am trying out and so far I really like it! I'll be blogging on both of them for a while and then I will decide which I like better and I will stay with Blogspot or switch over to Tumblr. My url for that one is: http://happyem.tumblr.com/ so feel free to check it out!
Mike and I tried a plantain today. We bought it the other day while we were at the store just to try it. Mike took one bite and spit it out. I thought it was pretty good and it was a lot like a banana. I like bananas better though.

ENT and March Madness
I went back to the ENT and he said my ears are looking really good. I made an appointment 2 months from now in May to do a check up on them. He cleaned my ears out and said there was nothing in there but a little wax and moisture. He then had me take a hearing test because he was concerned with all my ear problems I have had that I may have lost some hearing. I took a hearing test and my results came back normal! The doctor was happy about that one and said if I had any other ear problems in the future and lost some of my hearing because of that, it would be a very good chance that they could restore my hearing or something like that.
Waffles is being cute, and she is fun. She is very self content a lot of the time and will lay on the couch with us during a move and just sit quietly playing with her toys. One of my favorite things to do already is to sit on one side of the room and have Mike on the other and roll a softball between us. She goes nuts chasing it back and forth! So fun!
I have almost made it through March Madness and I can't wait till its over!! And then Mike will start counting down till next year. Ugh.

Get Ready To Be Disgusted,,,
I had another ENT appointment. Surprise surprise.
My ears have been clearing up nicely, but I never get my hopes up too high with the well being of my ears. They still itch and scratch. Anyway. I went to the ENT yesterday, he said my ears are looking a lot better, but still very dry and red. Last time he told my my nose is very dry as well. I'm not sure if this is due to the winter or just being in Utah but I also know my legs are very dry a lot of the time.
He cleaned out my ears with the little vacuum thing (again) and I got dizzy and felt like throwing up (again) and the stuff in my ears plugged his little vacuum tube thing (again). Last time he took a culture of the stuff that was in my ears and he had the results to show me this time. He told me that I had a lot of bacteria in my ears (but not fungus! Thank goodness the other doctor was wrong) he told me that my ears are ideal for bacteria and things since my canals are smaller so ear wax, dead skin, and other things have a hard time exiting my ear thus making it a warm, damp, cozy place for bacteria. Do you want to know what kind of bacteria is in there? Do ya?
Get ready for the gross part.
He said there was some E-Coli in my ears. And also a lot of Staph.
Eww.
I felt like asking him to lop my ears off right there.
He then showed me a list of medicines and other things that the lab people tested this stuff with so he knows exactly what things to give me to get rid of my infection/bacteria/gross stuff.
My ears are feeling better, but they still itch and have some stuff in them. Hopefully they will get all the way better soon and will be better forever.

Chocolate strawberries you are so good to eat.

I just made some chocolate strawberries and they are delicious.
I went to a different ENT today. I liked this doctor better. He is nice and he explains things and I like him better than the old one. Mike was nice enough to come along for my appointment. The doctor gave me a prescription of ear drops (ugh) and cleaned out my ears. I hate getting my ears cleaned out. It makes me dizzy and makes me feel really sick to my stomach. Anyway, he seemed like he was willing to get rid of my ear problem once and for all instead of like previous docs that would give me ear drops and send me on my way saying it would cure whatever is wrong. He also took a culture or whatever to see if there is anything unusual in my ears that keeps causing this infection to come back. Even though I've been to a bunch of doctors and had the same results I'm hopeful that this will work and I won't have problem anymore.
A week or two ago I messed up Mike's hair. I was shaving the sides and we usually do a number 2 on the sides. Mike was sitting in the chair and was making me laugh with all the funny stuff he was saying. I set down the #2 guard and the shaver. I just picked up the shaver. I forgot to put the guard on. So I started shaving his head.. I made one strip and pulled the shaver away and I felt so bad! I told him I messed up and Mike just laughed and said well you have to keep going, you can't leave it like that. So for a few days he had an extreme mohawk. A few days later we cut the top down too so it didn't look too bad. Now it looks like he just has normal short hair. For a few days though, he had a pretty nice mohawk! Haha!

The Thoughts Of a 21 Year Old
I'll admit it. I like Justin Bieber's music. I think he is a talented kid, and I'll be the first to turn up the radio when he comes on. I just got done listening to "Baby" and "One Less Lonely Girl". Bieber Fever? Probably.
We went to the Less Than Jake concert a week ago. It was really fun. I even knew some of the songs. Mike almost lost his voice. It was a fun concert to go to, and it was fun to go with my man. I can't wait till the U2 concert. At the end of the concert the bass player threw out the guitar pics that he and the guitarists used. One of them got thrown right by us and landed on the ground. Three guys dove after it and were scrambling to get it on the ground.. but no one got it. It could not be found. After they stood up, I kept my eyes peeled for it on the ground. Some guy lifted up his foot a little and I saw it. I didn't waste any time. I went over to him, said "Move!" and gave him a little shove. And grabbed the pic. YEEEAAAH!!! I gave it to Mike since its his fav band.
Yesterday we tried to make ribs. They lit on fire on the grill. Twice. There were still some good bites though. Mmmm...
The spare bedroom (AKA the Manny Man-crush Room) is officially done, hats and all. Here are some pics of my wonderful work. I will never paint diagonal stripes on walls ever again. Those are all of Mike's hats.. Well, almost all of them. There are some that aren't in the pics. Crazy.
I can't wait for it to be spring. I can't wait for my flowers to come up so I can take pictures. I am excited for hiking and our trip to Boston, but I am especially excited for ROCK CLIMBING.
I love rock climbing. I haven't been since we got married, which is sad. But we didn't have money for gear and didn't have money for a gym membership. But now we've got some spare money to get the rest of the gear we need for an awesome rock climbing summer.

Going Private
Hey all, I have been debating on this for a while, but I think I am going to make it so my blog is a private blog. My friend at work told me how to look at my blog stats which showed where around the world my blog was being viewed, the frequency it is being viewed, etc and it freaked me out so I am going private! Vday
As you all know, yesterday was Vday, also known as Valentine's Day. but Vday is easier to type so that is what I refer to it as.
This year Vday was awesome and interesting. Mike got me Little Big Planet 2 but gave it to me a week early since I love the first game so much. I got Mike concert tickets to his favorite band, Less Than Jake. There is a story behind that.. here it is.
Mike has liked LTJ for a loooong time. Last time he saw them in concert it was like 10 years ago. So I thought since they have a concert on the 19th it would be a perfect present for him. I ordered the tix and I told him he couldn't look at the credit card online till after Vday. No problem there, he is awesome at not looking. One day we were driving and he mentions he has a friend at work who sometimes can get free concert tix and that he had asked her if she could get tix for LTJ. I started asking "well, are you sure you want to go to that concert?" and trying to hint that he shouldn't try to get tickets. He then said "yeah I'd really like to go, it would be awesome if we could get free ticketts. I wouldn't pay $20-25 per ticket to go see them". Sad. Thats what I had spent. So then I think that I got a horrible Vday present for him so I start tearing up and crying (unfortunately I'm a baby sometimes) and he is like "whats wrong? Ohhh.. that is what you got me for Vday. I just ruined it." Turns out, he really does want to go to the concert, but I got him a video game he's been wanting for a while just in case he was lying about really wanting to go to the concert that I paid $50 for.
Vday morning rolled around and as I was sleeping Mike got up and said that I could sleep a little bit more and he had something to do. I won't ever turn down more sleep. So I slept for about an hour more, and Mike came home and woke me up. He brought me out to the kitchen where he had chocolate milk, doughnuts, chocolate orange sticks, gerber daisies (my fav flower) and a cute note on the white board waiting for me. It was super cute and really thoughtful of him. The doughnuts were delicious. We went out to Applebee's for dinner and had a good day.
And here's for the mushy part about my Valentine!
Mike is awesome. I wish I had a better word for it. Hmmm... Amazing, handsome, thoughtful, funny... you get the idea. We've been married for a year and a half now and I wouldn't trade it for anything. He's my best friend and he always knows what I need whether its a hug and a kiss or a funny joke and a laugh. He gets me and he has always been there for me when I need him. He spoils me and takes me on really fun trips. He is adventurous and outgoing. He is super smart and talented. He can also juggle. I wish I could juggle. He is the love of my life, and I am so happy that we get to be together forever.
I love you Mike!! Thanks for being my Valentine!

Pizza
As some of you may know, Papa Johns had a special going with the Super Bowl. February 7-9 you can get a cheese pizza at regular price with 7 free toppings (since that was the number of touchdowns at the Super Bowl. Mike and I decided to take advantage of that deal (even though the pizza is severely overpriced.. seriously $10 for a cheese pizza?! Get real.) and we decided to order it online because you can say when you want to pick it up. So we decided on our 7 toppings and I tried to check out but it made me register. Ugh. So I registered and then checked out. After that we went to the church and Mike played church ball. After church ball we went and picked the pizza up. I got the pizza and brought it out to the car. IT smelled so delicious. I couldn't look at it cuz if I looked, I would start eating the toppings. So I did not look even though I was SOOOO hungry and it smelled SOOOO good! WE had to put gas in the car and then we headed home. Upon arriving at home I put the pizza on the table and went to wash my hands. As I did so Mike opened the pizza box and said "its just cheese"
REWIND. WHAT?!! JUST CHEESE?! I WAS STARVING I DIDN'T WANT JUST CHEESE! Plus I wasn't going to pay 11 something for a cheese pizza.
So I called Papa Johns. I talked to a nice girl who told me that my order came through as a cheese pizza. Then I told her I put these toppings on. She put me on hold and I got handed to the manager. The manager told me that my order was just cheese and by this time I was starving so I told her EXACTLY what I put on my pizza. After that she told me I could come in and switch my pizza out.

Church Basketball
Tonight I went and watched Mike play church basketball. I really enjoy watching him play sports. I hope he does softball this summer so I can watch him play that too. Anyway, tonight was church basketball.
Here is my beef. I probably can't say any of this cuz I'm not a mom and don't know how hard it is to take care of your kids but I'm saying it anyway.
If your going to take your kids to church ball to watch their dad.. make them behave. PAY ATTENTION TO THEM. Just because your girl friends are there does not mean its fine for you to ignore your children, let them swing on curtains, run and SCREAM at the top of their lungs, torture other children OR turn the lights off.
Maybe I was a little on edge because I was really hungry. That is probably it. But I was ready to turn around and give the moms a piece of my mind as they sit there and chat while their kids are driving every little piece of sanity out of me. I wish I could've turned around and said "take care of your children, or I will. Then I would've grabbed those noisy little kids by their arms and said "if that light goes off one more time.. your getting smacked. And you have to go sit out in the cold. PS don't yell." That probably would've been frowned upon.
Is it really that hard to look at your children and make sure they aren't swinging on the curtains and wen they start screaming to tell them to stop or smack their hand when they turn the light off? Oooohh I was going mad.
Another thing. Germs. I hate germs. Mike has to push the shopping cart because of the germs. I have to use a paper towel to open the bathroom door. I use hand sanitizer multiple times a day. I was sicked out when Mike stuffed his hoody and warm up pants under a chair in the the gym. Gross. You know whats worse? After the game he took off his shoes and walked around on the GROSS gym floor in his socks to give the other players high five. At least he didn't have bare feet.
